Awana is the leading ministry to help local churches reach children, youth, and their families with the gospel. Our prayer is
That all children and youth throughout the world will come to know, love, and serve the Lord Jesus Christ.
This website is for the Eastern Virginia Region. The international website is at www.awana.org.
Awana Missionary
Ken and Eileen Lorow (and 4 children) are our Missionary Family! They have moved into our area, but cannot serve in an official capacity until support comes up to need.
They are currently at 77%. You can add 1% to that total by making a monthly gift of $70.
CC101 helps commanders develop acomprehensive Awana ministry that equips your church, leaders, and parents to raise kids that know, love, and serve the Lord Jesus Christ. You will gain a clear understanding of your responsibility as an advocate, shepherd, administrator, communicator, and leader for your program. These are critical roles in learning how to integrate Awana into your church's ministries, manage and motivate your volunteers, avoid common adminstrative traps, communicate effectively in all kinds of situations, and grow a healthy, life-changing program.
CC101 is 2 and one-half days of transformational training providing practical tools, tips, and new ideas. Move beyond survival mode into excellence. Gain ministry solutions from interaction with other commanders. Clearly understand the requirements of your five roles as a commander.

Adopt-a-Club
Thousands of churches overseas see Awana as an extremely effective means for leading kids and families to Jesus Christ. But there are many more that can't afford to start and run clubs.
Individuals, churches, clubs and families can meet this critical need through Adopt-a-Club. For just $20 a month, or $240 a year, you can provide 10 or more children with Awana materials that enable them to participate in Awana.
